Breakfast Club – Rico Mambo – 12″

Breakfast Club was formed in New York in the late 1970s, and – yes, this is true! – Madonna was the drummer in the original line-up! Madonna soon left the project in pursuit of pop glory, but the band eventually signed with Ze Records and released some interesting pieces of synth-pop.

The “Rico Mambo” EP is a fresh-faced mix of Pop, Mambo and Electronic music, reminding us that the past isn’t as far away as it seems.
