Found Tapes Porto
The Found Tapes Porto archive treats a set of phonographic residues derived from the audio-magnetic support usually called a cassette. These debris, mostly made up of pieces of magnetic tape of different lengths, were collected from the streets of the city between 2004 and 2019. From that period, the volume of the corpus makes up for the hundred entries, totaling 15 hours of audio, including: music of different styles and seasons, home recordings, language courses or even memory data recordings, such as games or software.
This collection remains active today.
