Vaiapraia -100% Carisma – LP

“100% Carisma“, the long-awaited second LP of Vaiapraia, is finally available via Tons To Tell!

The title came before the album itself, reflecting the humor (both in the sense of “state of mind” as in “comic spirit”) that Rodrigo Vaiapraia wanted to explore in themes such as bewilderment and failure, hunger versus appetite, dissatisfaction and self-fiction as a queer person. These themes emerge not only as a catharsis, similar to 1755 – 2016 album, published by Spring Toast Records, but now also from more carefully designed compositions. In this sense, “100% Carisma” is more of a marathon than a sprint, an analogy also applicable to more varied and elastic sound exploration.
