Sensible Soccers – 2011-2013<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

Here is the fifteenth issue! This one took nearly a decade to complete… But most of the time it is just like that: good things take time.<\/p>\n

Describing Sensible Soccers<\/strong>\u2019 work, in a brief explanatory note, is a hard and unfair task, as the band’s career requires, in my sound judgement, an extensive opinion article. However, giving a favorable opinion about the work of friends or acquaintances can also sound like a somewhat forced panegyric… And in this case, the boys don’t even need my praise, because they’ve known, for a very long time, that the particular mix of Balearica, Leftfield electronics, and Independent Rock they produce brushes close to perfection. More than words, let the sounds roar!<\/p>\n

The LP, \u201c2011-2013<\/strong>\u201d, as the title indicates, does not bring news, but rather recovers, revives and regroups the first (firm) steps of Sensible Soccers<\/strong> towards consistency and creative security. In this anthology of primordial organisms, tracks such as the mythical and funny Sofrendo Por Voc\u00ea<\/em>, the sweet and melancholic, Zaire 1974<\/em>, and, my personal favourite, the minimal and tribalistic, Miss\u00e9 Miss\u00e9<\/em>, are superb. The remaining pieces also deserved a highlight, however, leaving some space for the listener is not a bad idea, at all.<\/p>\n

So, enjoy the music!<\/p>\n

Contudo, opinar favoravelmente sobre a obra de amigos ou conhecidos tamb\u00e9m pode soar a um paneg\u00edrico algo for\u00e7ado\u2026 E, neste caso, os rapazes nem precisam dos meus elogios, porque eles sabem, h\u00e1 muito, que a mescla de Balearica<\/em>, electr\u00f3nica Leftfield<\/em>, e Rock<\/em> Independente que produzem ro\u00e7a a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o. Mais do que as palavras, deixemos as notas soarem livres.<\/p>\n

O longa-dura\u00e7\u00e3o,\u201c2011-2013<\/b>\u201d, tal como o t\u00edtulo indica, n\u00e3o traz novidades, antes recupera, reaviva e reagrupa os primeiros (firmes) passos dos Sensible Soccers<\/b> rumo \u00e0 consist\u00eancia e seguran\u00e7a criativas. Nesta antologia de organismos primordiais, ponteiam temas como o m\u00edtico e divertido Sofrendo Por Voc\u00ea, <\/i>o doce e melanc\u00f3lico Zaire 1974<\/i>, e, o meu favorito pessoal, <\/i>o minimal e tribalista, Miss\u00e9 Miss\u00e9<\/i>! As restantes pe\u00e7as tamb\u00e9m mereciam um destaque, por\u00e9m, deixar algum espa\u00e7o ao ouvinte n\u00e3o \u00e9 de todo mal pensado.<\/p>\n
