For those who may not know Jost’<\/strong>s films, he\u2019s a prolific 50 years plus independent film director that can\u2019t stop in one place for long and who\u2019s given to harsh cinema virtuosity. Self taught musician, Jost<\/strong> has also composed and performed songs for some for his films, most notably 1976’s ‘Last Chants for a Slow Dance’ and 1983 ‘Slow Moves’.<\/p>\n

This record’s concept was not to isolate and edit out the songs alone when sound is 50% of a film. Always creating new angles and exploring the digital possibilities and technique of the \u201ccinema electronico\u201d, these two films represent a high moment on Jost<\/strong>‘s career.<\/p>\n
