Jos\u00e9 Alberto Gomes – M\u00fasica Para Teatro 2009-2022<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

Wasser Bassin<\/strong>‘s brand new release was born out of an occasional coffee conversation, where Jos\u00e9, if memory serves me correctly, lamented<\/em> the lack of editorial direction for numerous tracks he had composed, whether for dance companies, or for theater plays. Being well aware that waste is the fuel of misery, I challenged him, at the time, to prepare an anthology with the best moments from this wealth of sounds.<\/p>\n

Long months later, here comes this M\u00fasica Para Teatro 2009-2022<\/strong> (Music For Theatre 2009-2022)<\/em>, or, better said, a road of discontinuous lines, where the contemporaneity of tracks like “Ci\u00fame”, are followed by the abstractions of “Quarto Poder”, the meditative sounds of ” Laudes”, or even the glitchy and intrusive “Needle”. In other words, this compendium may sound somewhat scattered or paradoxical, however, the same mind does not necessarily have to think the same things all the time.<\/p>\n

A nova edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Wasser Bassin<\/strong> nasceu duma ocasional conversa de caf\u00e9, onde – se a mem\u00f3ria n\u00e3o me atrai\u00e7oa -, o Jos\u00e9<\/strong> lamentou<\/em> da falta de rumo editorial de in\u00fameros temas que havia composto, quer para companhias de dan\u00e7a, quer para pe\u00e7as de teatro. Estando eu consciente que o desperd\u00edcio \u00e9 o combust\u00edvel predilecto da pen\u00faria, lancei-lhe, na altura, o repto de preparar uma antologia com os melhores momentos<\/em> desse manancial de sons.<\/p>\n

Longos meses depois, eis que surge este M\u00fasica Para Teatro 2009-2022<\/em><\/strong>; ou, noutras palavras, uma estrada de tra\u00e7os descont\u00ednuos, onde \u00e0 contemporaneidade de faixas como “Ci\u00fame”, sucedem as abstrac\u00e7\u00f5es de “Quarto Poder”, os ambientes meditativos de “Laudes”, ou ainda o glitch<\/em> de “Needle”. Dito assim, este comp\u00eandio poder\u00e1 soar a algo um tanto ou quanto disperso ou paradoxal, todavia a mesma mente n\u00e3o tem for\u00e7osamente de pensar as mesmas coisas.<\/p>\n
