A powerful trio of mindexpanding krautrock sounds formed in 1973, they recorded their first sessions in 1976, improvising directly to tape in <strong>Schickert<\/strong>\u2019s basement &#8211; but these weren\u2019t released until 1986, originally in cassette format &#8211; reissued some years later on CD. The sound of \u201c<strong>GAM\u00a01976<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0differs a bit to that of\u00a0\u201cSamtvogel\u201d\u00a0<em>.<\/em>\u00a0Obviously, this is a band effort delivering their guts in a one take session, while<em>\u00a0<\/em>on\u00a0\u201cSamtvogel\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Schickert was playing all the parts, layering one after the other using the sound on sound facilities of his reel to reel recorder. Here, instead, we have an energetic echo charged jam that takes us through diffrerent atmospheres and moods, a hidden gem in krautrock&#8217;s cosmische history legacy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wah Wah<\/strong> presents the\u00a0<strong>first ever vinyl LP edition<\/strong>\u00a0of the 1976 <strong>GAM <\/strong>tapes.
