“Untitled Blue<\/strong>” presents thirthy pop-music album covers taken from Jos\u00e9 Carneiro<\/strong>‘s private collection. This publication follows a very simple idea: identify works of art that share the word blue in its title, such as: “Blue” (by Derek Jarman) or “The Blue Oneness Of Dreams” (by Sekou Sundiata). The project reflects on the singularity of the word blue as a sort of hommage to all feelings and sentiments that enjoying, experiencing or simply listening to music may arise. The record, according to Carneiro’s view, is not only a slab of information,\u00a0 but a vivid impression in our memory. Probably blue…<\/p>\n

“Untitled Blue<\/strong>” apresenta trinta \u00e1lbuns de m\u00fasica popular seleccionados da colec\u00e7\u00e3o privada de Jos\u00e9 Carneiro<\/strong>. A publica\u00e7\u00e3o nasce de uma ideia simples: identificar discos que partilhem a palavra Blue no t\u00edtulo. Da constru\u00e7\u00e3o sint\u00e1tica mais elementar, como “Blue” (de Derek Jarman), a fic\u00e7\u00f5es mais longas, como “The Blue Oneness Of Dreams” (de Sekou Sundiata), este projecto vale-se da singularidade de uma palavra para homenagear um sentimento que a m\u00fasica tem promovido, o tema da melancolia que atravessa todos os g\u00e9neros e que cedo se fixou no Blues. Desta forma, altera-se a finalidade principal do disco convertendo-o num bloco organizado de informa\u00e7\u00e3o a partir de conhecimento alojado na mem\u00f3ria. E, dessa resson\u00e2ncia constru\u00edda ao ritmo de Blue, tanto fazem parte obras incontorn\u00e1veis da hist\u00f3ria da m\u00fasica, como edi\u00e7\u00f5es que circulam por lugares menos \u00f3bvios.<\/p>\n
